Easter Baking Fun!

Robin's egg cupcakes
made with this carrot cake recipe

and inspired by Martha's baby bluebird cupcakes.
{I need to practice making those baby birdies with their cute little beaks!}

A Mother / Daughter baking day with my sister, Doreen.

The sweets and treats were wonderful
but the sweetest treats were the
hugs and kisses
and special
closeness
we felt
with
each other
and
with family and friends
near and far.

I wish you a lovely week filled with
small wonders
that
bloom into big joys!
~Maria

ps. Thank you for the Easter baking ideas, Koralee!
pss. Thank you for sending me your fun cupcake photo, Cassandra!

  4. My daughter always bakes with grandma for Easter. They made so many cookies and cupcakes I think we'll still be eating them next year! It sure is fun and tasty. I tried a new recipe, a bread from scratch and it turned out just lovely.

  7. It clearly show you were having a good time, Maria. The bunny cookies are super sweet. I have never made bunny cookies, should do so next year.
Your words always, always make me think, Maria. How wonderful is your 'small wonders that bloom into big joys'!
Much love for a happy Tuesday xxxx We are still in Pennsylvania, sun, warmth, a swing chair for everyone and the game 'guess an animal starting with the letter ...'. Unfortunately, Quinten is just a little too young to play along. He lays back on Mark's lap and listens, looks and listens to all of us.
