Yes, Virginia there is . . .

a rose blooming in upstate, New York

in November!

November Rose

This plant finally had a reprieve

from the rains and beetles of the summer...

~ And surprised me with one more bloom ~

So that I will remember its sweetness throughout the winter . . .

An invitation from God to stop and be still.

  1. I am afraid there will be no reprieve here in West Michigan, as we have had several hard frosts. But....my rosemary plant is still thriving, so I might try to bring her in today. And the holly bush has berries, so there is a bit of color!
Have a blessed weekend, Maria, and enjoy your rose gift!

  3. Maria-what a beautiful rose and photo. I love the title of the post, clever. Sometimes natures offers us that bonus...isn't it wonderful?
